How are these dates worked out?
Thithi and nakshathram come from an astronomical calculation checked against Drik Panchang; Malayalam dates come from the Kollavarsham solar reckoning. Kerala festivals are fixed by the Kerala panchangam, so they fall on the same date wherever you read this. The full method is written down, including where it can be wrong.
